So, pricing for the Fisker-Galpin Rocket has been announced and I would like to know your opinion. The base car starts at $109,000 and for that you get a Performance Pack equipped 2015 Mustang GT that has a completely new carbon fiber body, save for the roof and doors. In addition, the interior surfaces will be replaced with hand stitched Italian leather and carbon fiber. However, if you want a sizable power increase to accompany your Mustang's new styling, you will need to step up to the $125,000 supercharged version. For the extra money, you receive a 2.9L Whipple supercharger operating at 15-16 psi that allows the 5.0L Coyote V8 to produce 750 hp and around 500 lb.-ft. In addition, an intercooler is included to insure that the package doesn't overheat and the suspension is upgraded with new springs and anti-roll bars to improve the handling. Finally, if the two packages above just aren't enough for you, you can fully spec out your Rocket with even better interior and exterior materials, lightweight wheels, and a Brembo Gran Truism brake package, all for $137,095.

So, what do all of you think? Is the Rocket unique enough to justify its $100,000+ asking price or is it simply an overpriced bodykit?

Looks like the Mustang had a child with a Chevy Sonic if you ask me. That grille looks uncanny.

I'd rather just tune a Hellcat.

To me, this looks a little worse than the stock Mustang. And for $100,000? Honestly I'd rather have a Corvette, a Dodge Viper, a Hellcat or a nearly new Mustang Shelby GT500 for $35,000 less:

Hint for Heinrik Fisker, and Galpin Auto Sports....

A re-body is only worth while when the result looks SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER than the original.

Looking significantly WORSE is a bad business case.

But who knows... P.T. Barnum may have been right when he said that there is a sucker born every minute; and a fool and their money are soon parted.

Unless they touched the interior this is CP all day. Ford really has yet to step up their interior game in cars now costing >$40K.

The Alfa Romeo 4C tempts me over the Cayman not because of its more exotic appearance (inferior performance), but absolutely brilliant interior.

I agree. I was just kidding with the other commenter.

I love the exposed carbon sills on the 4C.
